### Help me to understand the series module of the Calculus program

Monday, May 30th, 2016

The sums of any series can be found under F2 C , just enter the series. Thats for questions 1 and 2
Now, since the series in 1) is a converging geometric series you could also use the geometric series test under F2 3 .
For 3) use the integral test under F2 4 : enter as 1/(n*(ln(n)^3))
For 4) use F1 3

oo infinity symbol is at Diamant+catalog

### thank you for the outstanding customer support

Friday, May 27th, 2016

Hi Mike,

I just wanted to thank you for the outstanding customer support. When I submitted a question to you regarding some functionality in SPME, I certainly wasn’t expecting a response within hours, especially on a Sunday. It’s been a long time since I received such a rapid and professional response from an online vendor.

Thanks and all the best.

### How to enter this Bernoulli equation

 Olumide Alege (@oalege87) 5/27/16, 12:00 AM @TiMathApps how do I input this bernoulli equ pic.twitter.com/6JVTR7VnRG

divide both sides by X to have dy/dx +y/X = 1/x*y^2. Now you see how to enter it.
p(X)=1/x and q(X)=1/x n=-2 .
got it?

### Conic Sections, Differential Geometry , Complex Analysis for the TI89 – Testimonial

Tuesday, May 24th, 2016

I’ve been waiting to get the nspire, and now I really have no reason to keep waiting. I felt that the 89 with your apps was the way to go, your apps are great, I have 10 of them.

I love complex analysis, it’s one of my favorites. I will get the nspire soon and then I will obviously be purchasing your apps again.

Something that would complete the square and accept equations with 3 variables and then graph it in the nspire. This would be amazing, then also if it could graph a vector value function (vector curve),

The Diff Geometry app that came with complex analysis is very powerful. To be able to find the “TNB” so quickly is unbelievable as well as the Curvature and Torsion,

So I just finished Cal 3 and Physic 1 Cal based, and with my professors allowing me to use my 89, I feel unstoppable with your apps and my 89.

Because the 89 is limited (it’s ram/ memory charts low compared to the standard of today) it is really exciting to have your apps on the ti-nspire I must say.

I will purchase the following apps as soon as I get an nspire:

It would be great to also have
-Complex Analysis Made Easy (with Diff. Geometry module)

Your apps are the best and I really appreciate your customer support.

Thanks,

### Normal Distribution on the TI89 using Statistics Made Easy

Sunday, May 22nd, 2016

ex1. What is the probability of obtaining a sample mean greater than M=60 for a random sample of n=16 scores selected from a normal population with a mean of 65 and a standard deviation of 20?

Go To F3 7 and select Normal distribution, enter
mu=65
std dev=20/sqrt(16)=20/4 = 5 so just enter 5
M = 60

Then in the dropdown menu select option 2: P(x>a) . Voila 84.1345%

ex2. What are the boundaries for the middle 50% of all possible random samples of n=25 scores selected from a normal population with a mean of 80 and a standard deviation of 10?

Go To F3 7 , enter
mu=80
std dev=10/sqrt(25)=10/5 = 2 so just enter 2
and in the dropdown menu select 6 NormInverse :
enter .25 (for the left 50% bound)
next redo above and enter .75 to the upper right bound.

Also, is there any way to use SPME to obtain or calculate values found in Statistical unit normal tables?

Sure, F3 7 . Use mu=1 and Std Dev=0 and a and b is desired , then use options 1, 2, 3 in the dropdown menu.
